Mandarin Madness🇨🇳

Primary 5 had a very exciting morning. We first had a live link up with a class in China. We were able to tell them about school and culture in Scotland and then our Chinese friends shared their own information. We then had a fabulous online mandarin lesson.

Puppeteers

Primary 5 designed and then followed instructions to cut, sew and decorate their own puppets. They then created stories about their puppets. Finally they were able to read their stories and introduce their puppets to their P1 buddies.

Athletics

Primary 5 enjoyed being outdoors today to develop their Athletic skills.  They have been learning how to use the correct form to jump hurdles and pass on the baton in a relay race.  They practised their long jumping skills and used metre sticks to measure their progress.

Campus Cop 👮

As part of our Crime and Punishment topic, we were lucky to have a visit from  our campus cop, PC Lorraine. We were able to learn about life as a police constable in modern day life.

Badminton

Primary 5 have started Badminton in PE.  They are learning  how to move quickly to cover the court, serve the shuttlecock, return a serve and the rules of Badminton.
